Rob Bloemendal is Regional Sales Director Benelux and Nordics at Nexenta. He is responsible for Nexenta product sales to Dell and other major partners within the Benelux-Nordics Region. Rob joined Nexenta in January 2015. Prior to his current role, he worked as Nimble SE Manager for EMEA North. Earlier in his career, as Consulting Engineering Director EMEA at Violin Memory, he was responsible for enterprise consulting for high transactional application environments and advised CIO/CTO level how to achieve better application response times with lower TCO and risk. Before that, Rob worked for Dell, EqualLogic, HDS and EMC. Rob joined Nexenta, because he sees the value in software-defined storage and software defined VDI. It will reduce risk, complexity; it brings a high level of data integrity and at the same time a much lower cost price for the customers.
